Tools Terms of Service

Scope

These terms cover interactive utilities on the tools subdomain, including AI readiness assessments and governance checklists.

Use of the Tools

• Use the tools to evaluate governance practices and AI maturity; they are informational and not certifications.
• Do not input regulated, confidential, or personal data you do not have permission to share.
• No automated scraping or load testing that could degrade service.

Cost

The tools are provided without cost to the user. We may introduce paid features in the future, but the no-cost experience will be clearly labeled.

Outputs and Advice

Outputs are generated from your inputs and reference frameworks. They are not legal, financial, or compliance advice. Validate findings with qualified professionals.

LLM Processing

Some outputs are generated by sending assessment data and derived scores to a large language model (LLM) via API. We currently use Anthropic for LLM processing. Do not submit regulated, confidential, or sensitive personal data.

Data Storage

• Local: Draft responses and session state may be stored in your browser for convenience.
• Server: Assessment submissions and scores are stored when you submit an assessment or request deliverables like PDF generation, email delivery, or explicit save. Feedback submissions and operational logs are stored on our servers to improve the tools.
• LLM: Relevant assessment inputs and scores are transmitted to the LLM provider for processing.

Accounts and Submissions

The tools currently do not require user accounts. If you submit contact details for follow-up, you affirm they are accurate and provided with permission.

LinkedIn Sign-In and Leaderboard

• The Duty of Care board game offers optional LinkedIn sign-in via OpenID Connect. By signing in, you consent to sharing your name, email, and profile picture with this site.
• Game results are stored for analytics purposes. If you opt in, your name and profile picture may appear on the public leaderboard.
• We do not post to your LinkedIn feed or access your connections.
• You may request removal of your data by contacting [email protected].

Intellectual Property

Frameworks, scoring logic, and UI elements remain the property of Ian Tyndall. You may reference outputs internally but may not resell or white-label the tools.

Availability

The tools are provided "as is" without guarantees of uptime. We may modify or discontinue features at any time.

Privacy

Data handling follows the Tools Privacy Policy. By using the tools you consent to that policy.

We may update these terms as the tools evolve. The date above reflects the current version.
